Talking Tail tidies & lowering links

Has anyone put a license plate bracket eliminator on the market? That bridge beam construction on my Striple looks way beyond awful! I've got saws but I just hate to cut up original parts.
Also, I've only seen an adjustable lowering linkage for the Daytona 675. I know it will work but it looks a little feeble. I am working on a new dogbone that would lower the rear of the Striple about 1 inch. For those of us with short inseams I believe this will be worthwhile. I appreciate any suggestions.
Love this bike despite only being ridden 116 miles!
