Cans
The ANR carbon fibre liners look pretty good and very similar to the ones that I have been doing up. My bike was an import from California and also has chrome bugles - maybe this is a Daytona feature. There are also aluminium sleeves between the can and the cf liner. These are quite important since the bugle end rivets to the alloy and cf liners and not to the can. Anyway having made a reasonable job of refinishing the cf liners I might just import some of the ANR liners for any future rebuild. My speed triple came with a 3 into 1 and whilst its racy and probably adds a few bhps its very noisey and I'm not looking to attract the rattlesnakes.
