I've seen peashooters on a Legend. Shouldn't be a problem. In fact when I changed the sprocket on my Legend I had to remove the mufflers. It's just one bolt on the footpeg and one on the pipe. Slip off/slip on. Cant see why it would be any different with TBird mufflers.
P.S. I did not re-jet. I sorta like the (Minor)popping on de-cell
