With all the gremlins having surfaced in Chiang Mai clearly it was written that the bike needed sorting out before continuing the Scrambler Shakedown.

Also, I had run out of time if I was to finish the ride, before my son joined me to ride the Golden Triangle over New Year.
Unfortunately by Bonnie riding mate seen previously was taken out by three kids on a scooter - the rider was 10!

The damage amounts to 60 percent of the purchase price!
Though bruised my mate and the kids are all OK - but he's gutted having only had the bike a week!

News on the Scrambler is that the electrics were sorted out, though the rocker cover oil weep is still an issue, but my confidence in the local dealer is such that I would rather go with this known problem,
than tempt fate with potentially more damage being incurred by its replacement.

But first was to get my son back up to riding par by having two days training with Mark Rossi, an Aussie Supercross champ.

Mark making it seem easy.

Richard was soon getting the hang of it.

Now for the Mae Hong Song Loop...
