Been in the bearing business for 35+ yrs and won't run Chinese bearings in anything that my life can become dependant upon.

I'll agree, but, I did notice from a set of bearings I came across in my dad's toolbox not too long ago that FAFNIR seems to be made in China now. He had the exact same bearing# on 2 different boxes, and the only difference was age. The older FAFNIR bearing said "Made in the USA" on the side, while the newer box stated "Made in China".
