I bought them back when I had my VFR and have used them on several trips both long and short and they have held up well. There is also a tailbag that is sold separately that attaches to them to make a pretty nice setup. Here's a link to the tailbag if you're interested.

The bags are well made, come with rain covers and they also have a padded backing to help protect the paint.
