Yes, with the proper SAE --> Powerlet adapter you can plug your battery tender into it. Works fine. I've already tried it on mine.

I did have to buy several adapters for:
- Widder (Proprietary)
- Gerbing (Coax)
- Battery Tender (SAE)

Everything works fine in the Powerlet AKA Triumph AKA BMW accessory socket, and it is a lot neater than having several different cords running out from the battery. If you need a cigarette lighter adapter for a 12v air pump or something, they are also available. My Cycle Pump is SAE, so I didn't need that.
