Positive and Negative

I used to love the maps and still use them to assist in plotting a ride but pre routing on MapQuest allows me to go on roads or routes i would never normally go on and allows me to reroute if I get off track. I have the GPS plugged into my ear so it is less distraction then trying to look down at a map on a tank bag. I also like to route the way to a spot and then wonder on the way home and rarely touch a highway The negative is that I don't know how to get anywhere without it now! I think it's the best tool that I have ever bought for my touring bikes and you can pick up a Garmin unit that is a few years old with less bells and whistles for between $100-$200...
