I demoed a D675 at Bikeweek this year and a Street675 at Biketoberfest. The rides are somewhat controlled and I don't believe the bikes get too much abuse, unless someone goes down. I probably got the D675 up to about 80 and the Street around 100 and 12K using the old slingshot method of group riding. I believe the lead rider at times was around 70. That said, I still think the bikes are fine unless dropped.
