If I recall, Triumph puts a new motor into the demo bikes before selling them, so no worries. For the past couple of years, I have been around for the Triumph truck visit out here, and I can tell you there isn't much chance of the bikes getting abused much during the demo rides. The rides are well controlled and go around a prescribed route, most of it at speeds well under 40 mph. Triumphs are pretty much indestructible anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it much. You have a two year warranty, so flog it but good and take it in under warranty if there is a problem. Or not. Chances are it is fine.

The toolkit consists of an allen key so you can get the pillion pad off and a screwdriver under the pillion pad. I haven't figured out why they bothered with the screwdriver. OEM tools are always lousy anyway, so there isn't much loss in Triumph not supplying any.

I can't help you with your third question!
