Very interesting work. This kind of thing really should have been done long ago. We know a great amount about the physics of riding, tuning, suspension set-up. How much study has gone into the human operating the machine? How about some riding standard operating procedures? Wouldn't that help the new riders as well as the old saws?

I'm glad to see someone is taking up this task. I'm eager to see what they learn.
