I talked with the friendly local triumph dealer spannerman here and Triumph know about this - it is apparently relatively uncommon and they are fixing those who ask nicely it would seem....having now cured it - I think they should come clean on stuff like this - it is a bit reminiscent of the old starter sprag problems 15 years ago on triples...
