Thanks Davie just what I need. Yeh a lot of dirt and dust around the adjuster, is it a problem greasing it do you think, either grease or copper paste would certainly seal it and also avoid any seizing together of the faces. But perhaps its meant to be a dry face to face contact for the clamp??
