I no longer even notice it under 100mph. But it does make going anywhere near top speed incredibly uncomfortable (for me at least). You have to remember top speed is about 150mph, so personaly I believe its good the wind blast keeps me a little honest. I'd reckon I'd be tempted to do more high speed runs if it wasn't pushing the helment against my nose.

I haven't been able to ride consistently since I bought the bike in September, I've logged 2,200 miles though, but I know that having a neck like a linebacker would help a ton.
