Please keep in mind that what works for one will not necessarily work for another on wind screens. The Tiger 1050 screen is so far in front of you that there are many variables that affect whether one gets excessive noise (as I did) or buffeting (I did not with either the stock or Triumph Touring screens). One's seated height, riding position (which determines the distance your head is from the wind screen) are two really big variables that can vary a lot from rider to rider, IMHO.

I have read a lot of threads on screens on the tiger1050.com forum, and my conclusion is that one brand will work for some while others have problems with that brand...no screen available works well across the board for the majority of riders, IMHO. Many will not try the larger screens because it doesn't look to their liking.

I have tried three: the stock and the Triumph Touring screens were too noisy for me...I got no buffeting with either. I ordered a Calsci +7 screen and the noise level is considerably less; however, it is still a little above the noise level I get on the Bonneville with the Parabellum Scout and a 16 inch wind screen. The wind screen on the Bonneville is much closer to the rider than the one on the Tiger. I am 5'8" with a 29" inseam.

Good luck in finding a screen that meets your needs...expect to spend some money. I would recommend doing a lot of reading, and if you live in a large city, check out what others have purchased, if possible, before you decide to try one brand over another.
