My inner luddite says the new fangled plastic electronic solenoid doomathicky which is cheap to manufacture will be obscenely expensive, impossible to get, fail often and ultimately not live up to the hype. Tuning and adjustments will require a custom, dealer only computer with a specialized interface.
Neat idea though.
