you pointed out the Vario screen does not look long enough. But simply adding extra size to a screen does not in all cases alter buffetting and or wind noise. The Vario screen is one of a few brands that rigorously test their claims. Shorter, in this case, with an adjustable wind shield works for the majority of people. If you find it not perfect for you then you can if you wish cut down your old standard screen into a slightly larger wind shield and change this the the one standard on the Vario screen. I did this on my old TDM and on that bike it worked fine.
