Because I was home early today and bored I decided to pull my carbs apart and replace the phillips head screws with some allen heads.Whilst I had them in peices I added a shim to the needle.The bike (07 865) is currently "sewing machine" stock (waiting on pipes and filters) and guess what? It ran like p00..(No mid-range).Now from previous experience I know what a difference shims can make once the intake and exhuast are altered so it looks like you are just going to have to wait till you get that filter and pull the snorkle.I hope you have, or are planning to change the exhuast for something that breathes a little better too.
