i wear the sidi onroads - and they are only velco. and when done up right, looped in and out of the guides, this bad boys will not and could not come off in a spill - i know this to be true. as they are my second pair after trashing my first pair this summer in an expected dismount. my feet and ankles survived, the boots okay, still wearable but insurance bought me new shiny ones. so now i have two - my new winter snow boots.
