Lotus/Triumph No-Cam?
In keeping with my "Wish List" theme from earlier, UK's BIKE magazine has an intersting article in their November '07 issue "What Has Exotica Ever Done For Us?" It shows an interesting development of many types of bikes from the past. On page 97, they had a blub on 5 bikes they wish would be built. One wish was a Lotus/Triumph No-Cam. Since I can not find the link, let me drop in the brief comment made; "Three-cylinder missle with elecronic inlet/exhaust valve control instead of a throttle. Infinitely variable valve timing and lift makes other engines redundant overnight." While I'm sure this type of technology would be extremely expensive to mass produce, what are your comments or knowledge of this type of stuff?
