Wind protection on a Speed triple simply doesn't exist....period. I came from a bike with a full fairing (CBR1000rr) and the wind blast was a shock at first, but got VERY used to it. As they say.... "Harden the 'F' Up."

With my CBR I would regularly, maybe a few times per day, hit speeds of 150 to 160 in spurts on my long commute home. With the Speed Triple I hit 120 on a regular basis but it's just not comfortable so tend to cruise on average of 85-100. No fairing prevents me from rocketing down the freeway and will save my life. lol
