Okay, I need tires.
I've been mostly a Bridgestone guy. I tried a set of MEZ4s and didn't like them at all. Too slow in the corners, too slippery toward the end of thier life cycle (nearly highsided).
I currently have BT010s mounted and I got roughly 6500 miles out of them. I could have gotten many more but there are very few twisties in this part of the country. That is acceptable to me considering the type of tire it is.
The plan for next season is mucho touring. Deals Gap, meet Sean half way to LA, the Barber(sp) museum in Alabama. Anyway the point is I would like a tire that is more to the touring side yet still very sporting. I don't need 10,000 miles, I just don't want the center to wear so quickly.
Here is my plan, you tell me what you think. I'm pleased with the performance of the BT010 on the front. I was thinking of replacing it with the same tire but using a BT020 on the rear. Or,...... is there something else out there I should be considering?
