I had the same worries with the warranty, whether fitting afermarket parts would affect the warranty. I asked my dealer who said it would not, but he pointed out that it was not black or white and that a dealer if he was an awkward type could refuse to repair because of this. It seems a grey area. I would check with your dealer to find out before you do mods if this will affect the warranty. You could at least, say if you engine blew up put the standard parts back on if there was going to be a problem.
