I can't say what Penske shocks are like, but if Elka does work on forks anything like what they did with the shock, the setup will be perfect. I didn't have to touch the shock after I put it on the bike. I was expecting to have some adjustments, but none were needed and a couple places at Pacific Raceway that caused bad behavior before were no problem at all. The spring is a little softer than stock, but the damping seems better. I couldn't believe the bike would be as improved as it is from swapping the shock.
