It's irrelevant whether an "authorized dealer" installed the (un)authorized parts, or some wino under a shade tree. It's whether or not the making of those changes materially contributed to the problem. If not, their presence does nothing to void a warranty on the original and unaltered parts of the machine. (Example: You install a different taillight assembly and the oil pump fails; no problem with warranty.)
The flip side of the coin is that if you have an authorized dealer install a non-Triumph accessory that somehow does screw up the rest of the bike, the mere fact that he was a dealer does not obligate Triumph to fix his mistake for you (ie, he wires the taillight assembly wrong and the wiring harness burns up; not Triumph's problem). Dealers are independent agents, not employees of the manufacturer.
