I think you are making a mistake. I advise the following:
1) Try not to ride in town. Get on your bike and get out of town the most direct way possible. I'll bet it was in city traffic where they almost got you?
2) Get a lot of term life insurance (i've got 3 kids, so I have 1/2 million for each one! I'm worth a lot more dead than alive!)
3) Move out west, preferably Wyoming. The roads are un-crowded, and item 1 above is easior to do!
Think about it, don't do anything rash.
