new sv650 parts swap pics! The parts are all back from the machinist!!!

Ok, I just got the final missing piece, and the linchpin at that! That part is my custom made/modified SV650 triple clamps with a bonneville neck pressed in. It is the core part of the mixing of the 2 bikes. If this were a marriage, this is where the realtionship is consummated! Enough blah blah, here's a picture or 2:

Check out that top clamp!!! Talk about super clean! There will be nothing on top of it except for the Jesus nut. I'm going to make a gauge bracket that mounts to the underside of it and sits flush with the top so it will look very smooth. If I can't make something I like then I'm shipping the mother to Seth aka D9 for some custom cuttin'. I plan on making a very 'race' looking gauge setup. I think at first for cost savings I'm going to mount the stock tack front and center and the idiot lights below it, and then figure out what I'm going to do about a speedo/odo.

Here's the setup with the clip ons, well, clipped on.

Please note the festive gourd centerpiece and the skeleton placemats. Those add 5hp and no rejetting is required. The whole affair will be painted black, I like the aluminum, but the sucker is going dark.

Just in case you missed last week's episode, here are some other new part pics:
