Similar problem, no thread jacking intended…
I just recieved the Lucas style rear light (from Bella Corse), and there is only two wires coming out in the back. In the wiring diagram in my Haynes manual there seems to be three. I assume that what is missing in the aftermarket light is the ground wire.
Will the rear light also ground through the housing itself?
