I think of it this way I had a bad get off several years ago NO HELMET NO JACKET sunday ride in tshirt blue jeans and dewrag idot with the harley thing.The first thing I will say I wear helmet and jacket or I don't get on the bike Now. If I had been wearing a lettuce bowl type helmet I wouldn't of road rashed my scalp. If I hand been wearing a open faced helmet I wouldn't have road rashed my scalp or cut the back of my head open on the guard rail post or fracture my orbital socket around my left eye. If I had been smart enough to wear a full face helmet I wouldn't of nocked my front teeth out when I landed on the road, road rashed my scalp cut the back of my head open on the guard rail post or fractured my orbital socket. Learning from your own or someone elses mistakes PRICELESS. I just went yesterday and bought a brand new ICON alligance ss full face with air vents and a anitfog shield. Hung my KIWI kevlar up on the wall for retirement it served me well. Buy a new bike best mod or add on you can spend money on is a new helmet.
