I can attest to the added benefit to a full face, as I would have a different face than I do were it not for the full face I wear. It is also a flip up model. Caberg/Justisimo/Jarow It has a metal to metal latch system, versus plastic catches in some cheaper brands. It also has a metal bar running through the chin piece for additional strength.
I would have some serious facial issues were it not for my helmet. I also would have nasty scars on my hand, were it not for the gloves, and messed up feet were it not for the boots, a messed up knee were it not for the Roadcrafter riding suit, and all I had was a 15 mph highside. I did manage a vertical round-house sucker punch to the tar, and needless to say the tar won and I powderized my 5th metacarpal and fractured the 4th....
I like helmets.
