Exclamation Fuel Injected '08 Bonneville

I purchased a carbureted '07 Bonneville. Am I to understand that a fuel injected model will be in the offering for '08?

IMHO It seems a bit of overkill. The transmission clunky (old school) could not possibly benefit from such a change. If left as is, it will negate the purpose of a fuel injection system. 0 to 60 in seconds is not the Bonneville. Can the bike as designed really benefit from a FIS? I guess the last carb'ed bikes will become the neo classic collectable. I am sad to hear the news.
For those of you who do not mind a FIS please post a ride report. There must be other changes not obvious to the naked eye.

Thanks
RR
