Did you actually check for dry joints? The leads (wires) where they are soldered into the teminals? I've had a nasty time tracking down similar problems on my old Harley, only to find that whilst the battery terminals were in great shape, the wires into the terminal connectors. A bit of heat and solder on all of them sorted it out.

Worth a look.
