The stock Super Corsa Pros are OK in the rain as long as you keep the bike fairly upright. You definately don't want to lean it over on the edges where there is no tread.

A much better street tire is the Michelin Pilot Power 2CT. They even work pretty well on the track, but have a tendancy to go away unpredictably after a few heat cycles.

Will may chime in here about his experience on 2CT's on the track - It's not good!

Good luck with your decision on getting the 675. It is not the most comfortable bike in the world to tour on and if that is your main purpose for a bike I would suggest a Sprint ST over the 675, but if touring is only one part of your equation, and a minor part at that, I'd say the 675 will be fine.

It definately is not a commuting or touring bike. It is meant to be ridden aggressively and in the twisty bits...
