Go with the
MadMap route and you can't go wrong. The guy that wrote these routes knew how to pick them.
Even though we didn't do full loops, we combined most loops and got a great variety of road types.
I heard Lovel was going thru the Smokeys about the same time we were and just for a goof I sent a message saying I'll send out a wave if we cross paths, and wouldn't you know it...we did.
His was the only Sprint I saw thru the whole trip.
What blows my mind is how steep the banked turns are down there, you're basically looking straight up as you round corners. As we approached Helen, Georgia at night over some twisty mountain passes, I thought this is it, I'm not making the next turn, but the banks save you.
