I had a look at the Wiley X range at the Melbourne Motorcycle Expo but didn't have anything to compare with price wise. I've only ever worn standard sunglasses which are crap for riding. Bugs, dust and grit get around the lens and they're not impact resistant.
With the Aussie dollar chasing the US dollar I can now afford to bump up my budget to USD$150

Wiley X glasses are top notch! Thats what most use while in the desert... and they can stop shrapnel so they can handle a bug no problem. I have 4 different pairs of WX, all with different purposes. You can get them polarized as well, and some have a foam backing to block dust/wind from getting in your eyes. If you want something that will stand-up to just about anything that will be thrown at you, get them. I am sure there are other brands out there for less that are good to, but I don't like playing around with my vision.
