polarized lenses will give you fits behind a plastic shield. I love polarized lenses but they really don't work well behind plastic. You'll see what I mean, I think, when you try them. The polarization works on whatever light comes into the lenses but the shield distorts the polarity of the light, so you get distorted, annoying color shift patterns on everything you look at. I'd keep shopping if I were you.

Polarized is brilliant for anything else though, and probably worth keeping even if not for use with a face shield.
