Prior to buying my Speed Triple I had a Tr4A that I had spent about 15 years of my life trying to restore. With it about 2/3 - 3/4 finished I came to the realization that if I ever finished the car it would never leave the garage.
I sold it to a guy who was going to finish and then send it to a relative who has a collector car dealership in MO.
I never once regretted it until a few months ago I ran across this:

Except for the chrome wires in place of the Minilites that I had put on it I am positive that it was mine!
Upkeep? This car is 40 years old. It could never be a daily driver. It's a toy, something you fuss with and take out on sunny weekends. And it is amazing how small they are compared to current cars. Even a Miata looks big next to one of these.
That said, I still dream of having a Morgan Plus-4 one day!
