OK, I have to join in because I just got my 06 Sprint last week, thus I’m hyper interested in all things service related…sorry to flog what seems to be a well discussed topic… first let it be known that I do in fact use the search function, I do in fact research topics prior to posting, and I do NOT expect to be spoon fed info at my request (just for you forum police out there)

. This is what I’ve gathered:

From reading the forum posts, it appeared that folks thought the master cylinder issue is “recognized” by dealers and possibly Triumph, but there’s not formal recall?? The above info actually has a recall ID#.
I should be able to request a VIN check from my dealer an see every service event on my motorcycle, is that correct?
I love my Sprint, but I have to agree with the emotion regarding Jap bikes... my previous 3 Honda bikes, spanning 23 years had ZERO defects, ZERO recalls, and ZERO warranty work performed... not a single flaw, defect, componet failure...nothing. Normal service and oil changes... started every time hot or cold.... get the picture?
That said, none of the Hondas felt as good, sounded as good, and looked at good as my 2006 Silver Sprint ST ABS !!!
