I agree. Why??? The more shops, the better. Currently we have them in Hamilton, London, Stayner and Ottawa.

One of the biggest complaints I have is that the existing shops in Ontario -ie Hamilton and London are open at select times. They do not take into account the distance many owners travel to visit their sites. I have traveled to London twice to visit their shop and both times they were closed. Once early on a Saturday on a long weekend (they closed Saturday because of Monday) and once on a Saturday but it was after 2:00 pm - closed (I got there at 2:15). The Hamilton shop is no longer opened on Mondays as of Oct 1. Guess when I visited them?

You would figure these shops would remain opened on weekends when many of us can get away to check things out. I finally had to purchase the clothing and parts I wanted at a Triumph shop in Indianapolis (down for a wedding) that was opened. Sometimes you have to try on the goods before you can purchase.

I asked some of the dealers locally about opening a franchise in Northern Ontario and they said it was too expensive.

What really is involved in starting a Triumph dealership from a dollar outlay point of view?
