While you're flushing out the cooling system, check the hoses. If you have to replace them, the smaller hose that comes off the back side of the head and runs down to the thermostat housing is no longer available. Triumph changed to a different part number, which they say is the same hose but it's not. The new one is shorter and has a different bend in it. DAMHIK. I ended up taking mine to a local auto parts store and comparing it to the hoses they had in stock until I found one that would work.
It'd probably be time to flush the brake and clutch fluid too.
