If you have a late 955i you could in theory drop in the 1050 crank and rods. In practice you'd find it cheaper to source a complete engine to swap.
TBH, the 1050 has a pretty ugly rod/stroke ratio. I've seen a few 1050 motors in bits with broken rods. I don't think they are quite as bulletproof as the 955. Just my opinion of course.
