I am interested in this ride.
I spent last evening planing a route to Ancona (1100 mi, 3-4 days), and a ferry to Patras as suggested (200 Euros return with sleeping accomodation). Have you any experience of these ferries?
My AutoRoute doesn't have road details for the former Yugoslavia countries, but I would like to find an alternative to retracing my outward route to home. Overland via Bulgaria is 2200 mi, 7-9 days!
I would reckon on a 3 weeks event using ferries.
Is there an upper limit to the numbers (accomodation, for example)?
I also need to verify my insurance for any restrictions and check to see I can obtain any roadside assistance cover. Problem is, I have just had an argument with a Polish artic lorry and I do not know the outcome of my claim yet.
