didn't mean to ruffle feathers

absolutely was not putting down the thunderbird's ability. I don't have the skills to push either bike to their limit...was just pointing out my casual observation after hopping on the triumph.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the 0-60 of the thunderbird?

It isnt that the Suzuki makes that much more power but it weighs 100lbs less
In the end though its the rider that makes the difference.
Not to brag but this sunday I went to Ct. with a group of Beemer riders. 3 of them had R1200 ST's and were wicked fast. I was 4th behind them on my Legend
However...I was waaaayy ahead (and I'm talking MINUTES) of the '07 GSXR 600 and the MV Augusta F4 ( which was dyno'ed that day at 145 RWHP ) the kid w/the F4 had had it custom painted Orange and Silver (it looked gorgeous) but in the end your skill and nerve determine what "the bike" can really do...
