long time lurker...finally pulled the trigger
I traded my 2001 sv650s and 300 bucks for a 2002 Thunderbird. Nice guy...found the ad on this board.
Have my first 100 miles under my belt, and I love it. Doesn't have the neck snapping acceleration or handling of the suzuki (it was also modded), but it is a really fun ride (and sounds great...has epco mufflers), comfortable, and I love the look.
After the thread on inseam, I was a bit worried that it would be too tall or something (I'm 5'8 on a good day), but I flat foot the bike and it feels perfect.
I'm stoked.
