Replace them.

The real problem with the suspension is the dampening. These come way way under dampened, go to the race tech sight and order a set of gold valves and a set of linear fork springs correct for your weight, (they can advise) and you will have a front end with adj. dampening, and the correct rate. Then go order a set of yss, ohlin, hagon, or progressive, or works shocks. The works are very good as are the yss. The hagons can be purchased with covers for the vintage look, these are adjustable for rebound dampening, and the works and yss for compression dampening as well. If you need to go cheap you can open the holes in the damper rods. and go to a heaver fork oil, this takes a lot of work and trial and error. There is really no help for the stock rears.
