Tough morning on the Bonnie!
Hope it is better for everyone else..
About 1 mile down the back country road into work this morning there is a little dog in the middle of the oncoming lane. I slow down and keep an eye on him and he stays out of the way, no problem. Quarter mile down the road there is a sharp left turn. I see a truck speeding around the corner in MY lane! I hit the brakes hard and start to get on the shoulder. He still stays in my lane. Just as I am about ready to put it in the ditch he swerves back over in his lane. Another 5 seconds earlier and I would have been toast.
Then another quarter mile down the road a squirrel runs out in front of me..
I probably should have turned around and headed back home but the rest of the ride in was, happily, uneventful.
