Thumbs up Thankyou

Well guys, I have not had time to check this out yet, been out of town, but many thanks in advance for the help.

Amazing isn't it, you'd think that the dealers would be more informed. I'll not mention who my dealer is, but I'm in the San Fransisco bay area and I think my dealer is considered one of the more savy ones and he new nothing about the computer setting!

I had a similar issue with a car dealership who refused to even look at the mass of info that I'd downloaded from a Mazda owners web site. There is/was a well know problem with the coil pack that causes random miss-firing and this was well documented on the site but the dealer changed just about everything else before reluctantly changing the coil pack. This episode cost Mazda two catalitic converters, one expensive set of platinum plugs, and a complete engine ECU in addition to the final fix, a new coil pack! Unreal!

Thanks again for the tip, I'll try it tomorrow.
