Still having that "sound" I think I got it nailed down.....It sounds like liquid hitting a hot surface and evaporating....Like water on a hot pipe. I am going to take it to the shop....Here is my theory...my bike is part of a recall on fuel connectors that "could crack and potentially leak onto the motor". I'd bet that is what the brief "hissing/puffing sound" that I am hearing....Anyone else out there have the problem with the fuel connectors.....I know most of the 01 Daytonas were affected.
