FI will probably make the bikes much better.......easier starting and idle when cold, better mileage, better power, easier modding via mapping. No soul? Naaa.....makes no sense IMO. Soul is in the mind of the rider, and while some may feel that it'll only be because they are expecting that and will therefore subconsciously make themselves feel that way. I'd be thrilled, and if i wasn't waiting on that big cruiser i'd sell my SM to get one of the new FI models even tho i don't like the looks of the new ones near as much.
However, as for the delivery date, supposedly some places WILL see '08 FI models, some won't. The rumor is that they will be available most everywhere in '08 except the states. Thats from a fairly reliable source, but of course i don't know it for a fact. No one really knows the truth to any of this till we see it with our own eyes. Too many rumors.
