How great for you to live so close to the factory! One of these days I'd like to take a tour of the facility.
I agree with you that Triumph is a great marque. They're reliable, handle nicely; and they're FUN to own. I like that the company has such an interesting heritage, seems to be thriving and hopefully will be around for a long time to come. Their marketing people seem to know what they're doing (i.e., purporting exclusivity, while remaining easily affordable; heading exceedingly in the direction of triumph being "fashionable" from their machines to their apparel - and if someone invests enough in their clothing and other gear, they're probably planning to keep buying triumphs as their subsequent bikes - consistent with what Harley Davidson has seen with its apparel in the states ), so I'm guessing Triumph will continue to gain in popularity.
I've owned mine for about 6 months and it's really been a great choice.
